The J is one of PA’s most prolific trout streams. Trout numbers on this river are incredible, with wild browns and great hatches that make for many good times on the J. The Little Juniata grows big trout by eastern standards, and great river access allows anglers to get to places where these trout live. Grannom Caddis and Sulphurs hatch in the spring of the year, and this is our favorite time to be on the J.
